Which Garmin devices are compatible for the voices?Only Garmins firstly....not TomTom! Compatible devices include only the Nuvi models: NüviR 200 -series, Nüvi 205 -series, Nuvi 500 -series, Nüvi 700-series, Nüvi 705 -series, Nüvi 800 -series, Nüvi 1200 -series, Nüvi 1300 -series, Nüvi 1400 -series, Nüvi 1600 -series, NüLink! 1695, Nüvi 2200 -series, Nüvi 2300 -series, Nüvi 3700 -series, Nüvi 5000, Dezl 560m, ZumoR 660 Must I register on the site first?Do I need to be registered with the GPS Creative website, or logged into the website in order to buy a voice? The answer is 'no'. You don't have to register first, or even be logged into buy a voice. Just put a voice in your shopping cart, check out and pay using one of our convenient payment options. Having trouble with downloading the voice?Firstly ensure you are clicking on the correct link which you received in your email. Secondly, choose the 'save' option, not the 'run' option, and save it to a location on your computer that will have easy access to once it is completed downloading. Always make sure you are connected to the internet before attempting to download any files. You didn't receive your download email? Can't install the voice?Once you have successfully downloaded the voice to your computer, you can install it to your Nuvi. Firstly ensure the Nuvi is connected to the computer via a USB cable. Secondly, go the the ‘My Computer’ section of your computer to check on which drive of the computer your Nuvi appears. Now go back to the installed voice on your computer, and double click on it to start the installation process. Once open, choose the ‘run’ option. Accept the license agreement once you have read through it and agree to it. In the next window you will be asked to which directory the installation should be done to, make sure you choose the correct drive where the Nuvi appears on your 'My Computer' section as above mentioned. Wait for the program to pick up your selection and follow the prompts to start installing the voice to your Nuvi. After a few seconds the voice will be installed and the program will close. Can’t find the voice on the Garmin?After successfully installing the voice to your Nuvi, unplug the Nuvi and see if you can find the voice on the device. If not, the most common problem tends to be that your firmware on the device is outdated and you need to update the firmware before you will be able to see and activate the voice on your Nuvi. You can download the latest firmware.
